There’s still no better way to learn about a bike, or several, than going for a ride! The better the ride, the more you’ll learn and so, to that end, we’re bringing together the best manufacturers around for our annual Box Hill Demo Day. Look, BMC, CURVE and BASSO will be bringing down some of the best and most exciting road bikes around, across a range of styes and price points, for you to try out. If you’re uncertain about which bike is right for you, just how much difference the latest technology makes or even whether or not a bike has that X factor you’ll fall in love with out on the road, taking it for a spin is by far the best way to find out.
That same mantra holds true for every part of your ride and so we’ll also have clothing from Assos, nutrition from Namedsport.
Finally, for the ultimate upgrade, DAMIL Components will be bringing down their range of carbon Road wheels. Try them out on either your current steed or one of our demos to see how wheels can be the ultimate performance upgrade...
There’ll be expert advice, mechanical support, ride leaders and more shiny carbon than you can shake a seatpost at... what better way to spend a Saturday morning?
The Rides
The Box Hill circuit will allow you to ride on the flat, take in a descent and finally the obligatory Box Hill climb, far more fun and insightful than a 2 minute spin around the block! We're proud to be the ONLY shop that has the permission from National Trust to do this.
The last 3 years have been a huge success and we're sticking with the format of leading groups of ALL ABILITIES around the Box Hill Loop. The rides will start at the National Trust Cafe at the top of the hill and proceed anticlockwise. This allows for a nice warm up on the flat, a descent and then the classic Box Hill Zig Zags to really test the bikes.
